Why?

Why a blog on blogs?
Because those who read blogs enjoy personality, information and universal experience. And the following two, though widely and inordinately different, are worthy.
Check out www.oneminutebookreviews.wordpress.com
-
Because Janice Harayda has publishing-world credentials.
-
Because she’s humorous and articulate.
-
Because she responds to her bleaders and pays attention.
-
Because the blog deserves an award for being read-worthy. JH thinks in a different direction.
Have a look but look especially at this entry, http://oneminutebookreviews.wordpress.com/2008/02/24/questions-and-answers-about-the-2008-delete-key-awards-for-the-years-worst-writing-in-books/ too, just to “get started” and also because she’s posting her list this Friday, Feb 29.
Hey, it’s better than the Oscars in its way. Come on, don’t you want to see who should NOT have made the cut in the publishing world in the past year? Check it out.
………………………
And why a link to This Girl’s Life ? http://laylou.wordpress.com/
Because Laylou is also a humorous writer and when she’s in the writing zone, she rocks. And because the current dating world she describes is so darn crazy whack intriguing…and often unbelievable. It’s semi-nouveau SATC. Laylou reads like fiction, but she’s not.
Go get ‘em, chica and keep up those brusquely penned “love:hate” entries, too.
What a lovely post! A thousand thanks. I can promise you that the Delete Key Awards will be better than the Oscars in at least one respect: NO bad dresses. (You have to go to the National Book Awards ceremony for those.)
ah, thanks, darling! I’ll try to keep it coming
