bookstore as reference library? Nope
June 29, 2008
Dashed in to look up something at B&N (tired of using the Internet after 12-hour session) and walked out (yes, having paid of course) with a copy of the NRSV Bible and a copy of Tobias Wolff’s This Boy’s Life. No, the two have nothing to do with one another and I can’t swear as to how often the NRSV will get used but I need it to answer some manuscript questions. Now.
And Wolff is for later – chaise lounge, sun, breeze, and book; also because something in Poets&Writers (some subliminal statement, I guess) made me purchase the book, I mean, it just yelled at me from the shelf – reward! reward!
Really, B&N should offer frequent purchase points.
Back to work.
