A happening week (beware – this is slightly like a page out of a journal…more fluff than substance)

April 4, 2008 § 2 Comments

Wore a birthday gift necklace twice in four days (which I would normally consider a fashion faux pas).

Lost 3  pounds.

Went to movies with girlfriends. Laughed out loud during movie.

Attended a major meeting completely prepared and smiled my way through the BS (as opposed to staring out the window, swinging my foot under the table, doodling, wondering how the English language usage and expression became secondary to so many executives).

Laughed ’til we nearly cried, HM and I, over something silly we said during dinner the other night.

Caught up (sort of) on everything with BFF next door (during car ride to movie).

Slept badly three nights. Living on coffee.

Planned outfit for Saturday evening’s major charity event  at the Kemp.

Ate breakfast every morning but one. Excercised.

Decided not to be at office at crack of dawn this morning.

  • Nora says:

    what movie did you see?

  • oh says:

Miss Pettigrew’s Day Out, I think is the title. Thoroughly enjoyed it. It might have been a completely ridiculous film, but the acting made it and though I would have liked to see more sets, I was quite content with what I DID see. Recommend it? Sure, for a rainy day or a weeknight.
