Sunday errands…

August 31, 2008 § 2 Comments

To Trader Joe’s for coffee. Butter. Berry mango muffins. Dog food.

To Barnes & Noble. On Sunday morning – why? Because it’s Snarl’s birthday, and I keep buying things for him because I keep thinking that I don’t have enough. I had to get him the reporter’s style Moleskine.
And lo and behold, for the first time EVER there were 3 books on the buy-2-get-3rd-book-free table that I actually wanted! OMG. Three!
Just sitting there.
Just waiting.
All obviously intended for the vacation HM and I will steal next week.

I’ve heard so much about one of the books on the reader blogs.
And nothing about one of them except that it’s about Cape Cod where growing up, we spent five summers.
And the third book? Completely shallow. Trite. Pop trash.

I’ll leave you to sort out which is which.

Those remainder tables are dangerous business for me! Dangerous indeed! But how wonderful you will soon have a vacation and lots of time, I hope, to enjoy!

Hi, Jeanie! I just realized that I might be lugging more books than clothes withe me next week – hmmm…must rethink that.

Glad you like the morning glory flowers. I harvest the seeds every fall cuz HM plants hundreds, so if you want some, I will happily forward them. I often tuck mini envelopes of them into Xmas cards.
