Dylan Thomas for Christmas …

December 9, 2008 § 1 Comment

Oft seen at the Algonquin in NYC, large old Dylan Thomas created some lush poetry. During the holiday season, any anglophile, poet, crazy mad reader or lover of words will flip out and spiral into glee listening to “A Child’s Christmas in Wales.”

OMG. It’s so good. Every time you listen, you’ll hear a new detail. It’s memoir at its poetic best. Give it as a gift or keep it for yourself but get the recording. It’s to be listened to, not just read.

Pictured above, thanks to Google images, is my favorite recording on CD.
