TWO MORE THINGS THAT DON’T GO TOGETHER…

April 16, 2010 § 5 Comments

Three days of corporate meetings and two freelance writing deadlines.

A few things learned:
It’s true that if you sleep propped up, it can reduce or help avoid puffy eyes.
You can get up early every morning with the birds (around 5:00) but they will be singing and likely, you will not.
Finding a good title for a PowerPoint presentation can be as difficult as finding a title for a magazine article.

Here’s a title for the corporate PowerPoints: If this doesn’t put you to sleep, you get promoted!

Eh? Sounds like a fun week … pscyhe! Come back to college.

  • oh says:

Ah, but at the end of the week was this writers’ conference. And it is all so worth it.
Come back to college? Yeah, it’s MFA time!

So true about the birds and 5 am. Two more things that don’t go together are an overwrought mockingbird singing its heart out at 3 am and a human attempting to sleep, propped up or not!

TITLES. I can never be a writer really, because I can’t come up with a title or pithy catch phrase to save my soul. It is my great failure in PR and advertising!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Yours is great so I am glad I found it (thanks to you).

BTW: I get up by 5:30 most morning, so I can relate to the birds singing, but US — not so much…LOL

    Have a great weekend!
